Hopefully many of you will have enjoyed a weekend full of sunshine and warm weather. It has turned out to be one of the nicest May weekends in many years, but it can lull us into a false sense of security, as with the weather being so temperamental in this country the weather could rear its ugly head at any time. That is why your home needs to be prepared for the downturn in sunshine with the addition of new windows from Conservatory Outlet.
When you buy a set of replacement windows from Conservatory Outlet, you are not just guaranteeing your home a fresh new look, but you are also assured of a warm household at all times. You just know that the dark skies and rain could be just around the corner and you may have to go back to relying on your heating system unexpectedly. The advantage of our double glazing is that it will help retain the heat generated, resulting in your home being continually warm at all times.
There is nothing worse than getting home to a cold living room, something which can commonly occur in homes which only have single glazed windows. We install each of our window designs with two panes of glass as we want to improve all home owners energy efficiency as it is vitally important that we all start to become aware of the need to protect the planet.
It is important that you carefully assess which kind of window design will most suit your home as they can have a serious impact on the look and feel of your home and some designs may not suit some homes. But, we can guarantee that you will find an appropriate design for your home. Call us for free on 0800 915 8844 for any advice you need on double glazing or conservatories.

If you currently live near a main road or live in an area which is susceptible to noise, then one of the likely culprits for allowing such noise to invade your home is the front door. If you have investigated your front or back doors and found this to be the case, then you need to pay a visit to Conservatory Outlet and have a look into our replacement doors.

Our residential doors are available in three different finishes, oak, rosewood and traditional white, with each bringing their own mark of esteem to a home when installed.
Because they are finished on uPVC material, it also means that you will never need to repaint your door as the finish is guaranteed to last for years to come. This even applies if it becomes subject to adverse weather, as it can easily fight against such conditions. They are installed against frames tightly so that gaps are not evident, therefore reducing the chances of outside noise causing you earache.
You can also shut the door on intruders as they come designed with the very best and strongest locking areas you will find. With a turn of the key you will be protected against any sort of break in and if you are, then you are covered by our ten year guarantee.

Finally the weather is starting to get better and many of us are throwing out the jumpers and jeans and replacing them with shorts and t-shirts. As a result of the weather improving it is also important to keep the house cool, as a stuffy and humid household can make for a miserable time indoors. That is why you are best getting double glazing installed at your home and to give you that little bit more motivation to purchase from Greenway, we are offering a massive £850 off a set of six ‘A’ rated fitted windows.
Double glazing in Wales and windows in South Wales need to provide your home with good ventilation during the summer months and our windows can help keep you cool at all times. We can come to your home and fitted six quality windows for just £2995 in no time at all. This means that the majority of your home can benefit not only from energy efficiency, but also from windows which will utilise the natural heat and light of the sun and use it to warm or cool your home accordingly.
The great thing about uPVC windows in Cardiff is that they will help enhance the appearance of your home and make it more appealing to those who see it. Unlike old timber windows which commonly start to rot and warp over time, uPVC windows will have the opposite and are likely to last for years to come, withstanding any sort of weather conditions or damage.
If you want to show exactly how a new set of windows could benefit your home, then why not pay a visit to one of our showrooms. We have bases in Pontypool and Raglan and are able to install in locations throughout the region. For a full list of installation locations, check out our showrooms page.

If you have been living in your home for a considerable amount of time, then you may have found that your front and back doors no longer offer you the security, stylishness and weather proofing that they once did. If this is the case, then there is only one solution. Out with the old and in with the new, courtesy of a set of new composite doors from Conservatory Outlet.
The great thing about our composite doors is that they are thicker than most other doors on the market. So, therefore not only are they more likely to keep the cold air out of your home, but if you live close to a major road, then they will reduce the amount of noise that is able to pass through into your home. We can also make your new doors sparkle that little bit more as we are able to apply a gold, chrome or black hardware finish to them.
A composite door from Conservatory Outlet can also help compliment the hallway of a home as they are painted internally and you will find that they are virtually unbreakable. So, you can go on your summer holidays with peace of mind. So confident are we in the capabilities of our new range of doors that we provide a ten year guarantee on each design should anything go wrong after installation.
We have tested each door against all kinds of weather to ensure that they will offer your home the amount of protection that you would expect and believe that they are the toughest and most durable doors you will find anywhere.
If you fancy letting your guests take a step into the future, then give why not obtain a free no obligation quote from us online or call us on 0800 915 8844. We are also renowned for providing some of the best double glazing in the UK.

In years gone by the conservatory was considered a place in which plants and other matter were grown as they would benefit from the sunlight which would pour in. But over time the conservatory has developed into an area which can be used for so many different purposes and they are increasingly being installed in homes across the country. Below are some examples of how you could use a brand new conservatory:
Extra living room
If you find that you are increasingly running out of room in your home and your current living room is getting cramped for space, then you could extend the living room further by purchasing conservatories in Hereford conservatories in Bristol or conservatories in Gloucester. It will provide you with a great deal of floor space so that you could easily transfer a television and furniture into it.
Dining room
If you fancy eating away from the conventional dinner table, then why not have your Sunday roast or supper in the comfort of a conservatory. No matter what time of the day it is you can be sure that your conservatory will be warm enough so that you can eat within it whatever time you fancy. You could even invite guests round and take them into the conservatory for a dinner party.
Play area for the children
If you have children and you are constantly ending up standing on their toys without spotting them, then why not transfer all their games, toys and computer consoles into the conservatory. It will not only provide you with peace and quiet, but the kids may end up enjoying having their own special room to play in.
This is just a small snapshot of potential ways of using a conservatory as there are many more, the possibilities really are endless.

With the housing market currently suffering a downturn, it is vitally important that you make your home as appealing as possible in order to increase the chances of a potential sale. As estate agents and buyers approach the front of your home you want them to be taken aback by it and make it as eye catching and memorable for them as possible. You can usually achieve this just by making one slight alteration, replacing your current front door.
There is a new type of door on the scene which is appearing at the front and back of homes, namely the composite door. The reason being is that they are now seen as being the market leader when it comes to doors, due to their good looks and the plethora of colour options that can be applied to them. They are made of some of the thickest, quality material available, meaning that homes will also be kept warm throughout the year, no matter what the temperature is outside.
Composite doors are also a proven way of keeping your home more secure as they come fitted with a Yale locking system and key, Yale being one of the premier lock makers around. Because of the way they are crafted and designed it also means that irritants such as flaking and fading will no longer occur. Maintenance of composite doors is virtually minimal when compared to a traditional door, with just a good wipe down usually enough to leave it looking as good as ever before.
Not every type of composite door may suit your home, but this is not a problem as there is a vast range of styles available. You can choose the door with the kind of panelling and glass which will most bring out the best in your home. If you are seeking to transform the front and back of your home further, then uPVC Double Glazing from Conservatory Outlet are also a proven way of making a home a haven.

The North West is not always renowned for getting the best of weather, but when it does you need to make the most of it. There is so much lovely scenery in the region and some of you may be lucky enough to have a great backdrop at your home. If you do then you should take advantage of it, especially on those rare sunny days during the summer months. The ideal place from where you can admire any views at the back of your home is from the comfort of an orangery.
Orangeries in the North West are believed by many to be a new and growing type of construction, a kind of beefed up version of the traditional conservatory. But, orangeries have actually been around for years and were previously used more as an area for growing plants and flowers. Like conservatories in the North West, many people have woken up to the usefulness of the orangery and are increasingly having them installed in their homes as a way of extending the size of their property.
They are also made up of less glass than a conservatory, so if you are worried that it will get too hot in the summer, then think again as the double glazing that is put inside an orangery is energy efficient and will keep it cool when necessary. In the unlikely event that it does get too warm, then you could install some blinds onto the windows which will keep out the glare and heat of the sun. If you fancy keeping your feet warm during the winter, heated flooring can be put down.
If you are currently considering buying Carnforth windows, then you are also urged to look into an orangery as there is no finer way of extending your home.

From modern energy efficient double glazing to state of the art composite doors from Planet Windows & Doors – there’s a glazing solution out there to suit every type of home.
What’s more, by updating your tired and rotten windows, you’ll be helping to do your bit for the environment.
Windows and doors might only consist of 20 per cent of the wall area of your home but they can lose huge amounts of heat.
By replacing your old windows with modern double glazing, the typical UK home could save as much as pounds £150 a year.
So what exactly are energy efficient double glazing windows?
One thing, they help to conserve heat within the home but also allow the natural warmth of the sun to travel through the glass. They are less likely to suffer from condensation and can be made from any frame material – from modern pvc to aluminium
The glass used in double glazing windows has been specially treated to help reduce the amount of heat loss that naturally occurs through windows and doors. Treated with invisible coatings and even filled with inert gases, the glass helps to keep the heat in the heart of your home.
Energy efficient window carry the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) label. This means that the glass has an energy efficiency rating. Just like modern household appliances such as fridges, ovens, dishwashers, the most efficient are awarded an ‘A’ grade and the lowest a ‘G’ grade.
In orangeries and conservatories, installing the latest double glazing can make a dramatic difference. In the summer months, it’s easy to enjoy the warmth and sunlight that only a conservatory or orangery can bring, during a cold winter your new room will stay warm and comfortable with Planet Windows & Doors latest energy efficient glazing.
