Greenway Build The Best Conservatories In Gloucester

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

In years gone by the conservatory was considered a place in which plants and other matter were grown as they would benefit from the sunlight which would pour in. But over time the conservatory has developed into an area which can be used for so many different purposes and they are increasingly being installed in homes across the country. Below are some examples of how you could use a brand new conservatory:

Extra living room
If you find that you are increasingly running out of room in your home and your current living room is getting cramped for space, then you could extend the living room further by purchasing conservatories in Hereford conservatories in Bristol or conservatories in Gloucester. It will provide you with a great deal of floor space so that you could easily transfer a television and furniture into it.

Dining room
If you fancy eating away from the conventional dinner table, then why not have your Sunday roast or supper in the comfort of a conservatory. No matter what time of the day it is you can be sure that your conservatory will be warm enough so that you can eat within it whatever time you fancy. You could even invite guests round and take them into the conservatory for a dinner party.

Play area for the children
If you have children and you are constantly ending up standing on their toys without spotting them, then why not transfer all their games, toys and computer consoles into the conservatory. It will not only provide you with peace and quiet, but the kids may end up enjoying having their own special room to play in.

This is just a small snapshot of potential ways of using a conservatory as there are many more, the possibilities really are endless.

Orangery Windows

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

Some people are wondering what exactly is an ‘Orangery’? The orangeries we sell at Conservatory Outlet are quite like modern, Contemporary Conservatories.

One of the main feature of our Orangeries is that we utilise brickwork or stone columns within the design, so that you don’t need the uPVC conservatory bay pole or corner posts you would normally find with a Conservatory.

Also, we tend to fit internal lighting with downlighters which creates a great look to the inside of the orangery and helps sets it apart from a normal conservatory. To describe the difference easily – an orangery feels more like a glass extension or sunroom with a combination of glazed frames and walls. We normally install a glass roof (or polycarbonate if desired) on our orangeries and there are a range of Double Glazing and Orangery Window options available.

The images shown are taken from examples of installed orangeries and from our showrooms (Conservatories Leeds). We have Modern conservatories set up at all of our showrooms around England and parts of Wales.

There are numerous orangery designs available, including Victorian Orangeries, Edwardian Orangeries and the popular modern oranageries.

A great advantage of Conservatory Outlet orangeries is that they are very affordable. If you are looking to get a quote for an orangery or would like further advice please visit one of our showrooms and speak with an advisor, fill in a free online quote or phone us for free – 0800 915 8844.

Victorian Conservatories

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

The following is a West Yorkshire Window customers’ testimonial.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I’m writing on behalf of my husband and myself. We recently purchased a Victorian Conservatory from West Yorkshire Windows. The installers have been around this week, making sure it’s fitted exactly how we want. They were very understanding and extremely helpful when it came to our Conservatory Specifications.

We decided that along with the uPVC Victorian Conservatory, we would have some nice windows fitted that I could clean easily and would open wide. These are called Tilt & Turn Windows, and really look fantastic.

My husband suggested that we get had Bi-Folding Doors installed, I don’t really know much about them, but they work really well and it’s very nice to be able to open the front of the Conservatory fully, especially when the sun is shining.

The fitters were also very good when it came to cleaning up the mess they made. Obviously there was going to be a little bit of mess, but they did well to clean it up as they went. The fitters were very polite as well.

Thank you once again for our beautiful Victorian Conservatory.

Yours Sincerely,
Mrs Patterson
